        On March 10th, 2026, Mr. Dai Benling, Founder of ZhongminglianInternational, led enterprises representatives from dozens of quality companymembers to visit the Embassy of the Republic of Kenya in China. In-depthdiscussions were held with the Ambassador and diplomatic officials on economicand trade investment, production capacity collaboration, cultural exchanges andmarket exploration, promoting the implementation of a number of high-qualityprojects. This pragmatic initiative by private enterprises supports thebuilding of a new-era all-weather community with a shared future between Chinaand Kenya. The Kenyan Ambassador and senior officials warmly received thedelegation. The two sides reached multiple cooperation consensus in a frank andpragmatic atmosphere, injecting new impetus into China-Kenya private-sector cooperation.

        As an important economy in East Africa, Kenya is a key economic and tradepartner of China in Africa and a key country for the high-quality jointconstruction of the "Belt and Road Initiative". In recent years,bilateral cooperation has yielded fruitful results in infrastructure, energy,agriculture, digital economy, culture and tourism. Landmark projects such asthe Mombasa–Nairobi Standard Gauge Railway and Nairobi Expressway have becomemodels of China-Africa friendship. The delegation of enterprises organized byZhongminglian to visit the Embassy of Kenya is a pragmatic step in response tothe national call of "going global", which helps connect with Africanmarket needs and promote non-governmental economic and trade exchanges.

        The Kenyan Ambassador and officials warmly welcomed the delegation andintroduced Kenya's investment policies, priority industries, businessenvironment, and the upcoming 2026 Kenya International Investment Fair. Kenyais pursuing economic transformation and implementing Vision 2030, and attachesgreat importance to cooperation with China. Chinese enterprises are welcome toinvest in sectors including infrastructure, clean energy, agricultural productprocessing, digital economy, and healthcare. Both sides agreed that privateeconomic and trade cooperation constitutes an important pillar ofstate-to-state relations. They expressed the hope that this event will serve asa starting point to advance the implementation of more mutually beneficial projectsfor common development.

        Enterprise representatives introduced their technological advantages, productfeatures and overseas cooperation intentions, and had in-depth exchanges onmarket access, compliance operations, localization and trade facilitation. Manyenterprises reached preliminary cooperation intentions involving buildingmaterials supply, equipment export, brand agency and exhibition hallconstruction. Enterprise representatives stated that by relying on theZhongminglian platform and the embassy’s support, they have significantlyreduced costs and risks of going global, and are fully confident in exploringthe Kenyan and other East African markets.
